River Pub Zagreb
We completely reconstructed the space of the former Oliva restaurant, located on the famous Zagreb student "riviera" across from the Stjepan Radić student dormitory, into a completely different concept, turning it into the first Croatian flagship Staropramen pub. In addition to the new spatial organization and renovation, the space also required meeting a new business model, since the spatial annex and conceptual shift were necessary to satisfy the functionality of a restaurant, a daytime pub, a space for evening outings and live music, B2B events and events such as large private celebrations.
The first step was therefore a very careful design of an optimal spatial organization that would satisfy all expectations, while ensuring that one concept does not disturb the other and that each in that space works naturally and functionally.
Ožujsko brand store the first brand store of such a profile in Croatia, and in addition to the overall design and execution, we designed and produced all the products that were on sale in cooperation with the creative agency Symbol, which signs all graphic solutions on retail items.
We divided the space into four consumption units that are simultaneously separate and connected, which we achieved through targeted spatial arrangement and transparent partitions, so that each unit could act separately or as a unit with the rest of the space, as needed.
The entire interior is inspired by the Staropramen brand, which we achieved through a combination of materials, the underlying green color, and details such as the beer production process and the copper contours of Prague.
